This tune was said to be a British march often associated with funerals during the American Revolution. Legend has it that it was played by Scottish bagpipers stationed in NY honoring Roslyn, Midlothian, Scotland. Roslyn Castle has existed in Angus, Scotland since c. 1304 AD.
